Description
This small ledge sits above the big roof in the Adventure Roof area at the left end of the crag, near the SCC property boundary. A few nice sport climbs can be done starting off this ledge. The ledge fits 3-4 people comfortably.
Getting There
Keep heading left along the cliffside trail until the trail rises up and continues along beneath a large, low, horizontal roof. Shortly before you reach the wooden sign marking the SCC property boundary, look for a closely-spaced series of bolts that starts near the lowest lip of the roof and zig-zags up through the overhangs above.
Stick clip the first bolt, or if your stick is long enough then skip a few if possible. Batman up to your first draw, and then start aiding up the bolt ladder through the overhangs. Etriers may make your life easier here, or at least a few slings of various length. Clip an old piton before finally hauling yourself up onto the ledge, 25-30 feet above where you started.
