Description
Split Dome is a beautiful dome in the back corner of the Chessmen. It is isolated and one of the nicer pieces of rock out there. Really pretty.
Getting There
One to two hour approach from Horsethief. Once you reach the Patio Area as named in Busse & Burr's guide, look west and you will see the only obvious giant formation that sits atop an enormous granite platform. A deep gully separates it from Happiness is Water, so you must approach through some narrow granite gullies from the south.
