Description

Climbing on the Boars Tusk is Illegal. Talked to a BLM Ranger out of the Rock Springs field office on 7/31/22.

A small Volcanic neck in a barren wasteland.

3 bolt anchor. TAKE 2 60s you'll get down with one rap no problem. I removed the 2nd death rappel on mud stone.

Getting There

Take 191 N to Pinedale. There will be a Boars Tusk Sand Dunes sign on the right about 25miles at around 25 miles. Turn right and drive for a ways on a gravel road. You will see boars tusk on your left but still a few miles out. 4x4 service roads lead to it. If you don't have 4x4 park and hike. If not proceed. The climb is around in the back in the hole / nook area. You can't miss it.
