Description
A nice, but somewhat dirty (lichen) and dated (old fixed pro), collection of moderate trad and sport climbs in a beautiful alpine setting. Generally solid granite, but there are some crumb-lies and loose blocks.
Getting There
Reed Lakes trail from Archangel Road. Take the trail for ~2.5 miles from the Reed Lakes trailhead as it goes up and behind the Snowbird Slab, crosses the creek on boulders, and then goes up the boulder-y creek through the gap. The Barnyard area refers to the generally SE aspect walls at ~3500' on your left as the gap opens and the Reed Creek valley bends left.
