Description
***Watch out for bobcats****
The area has three main bouldering areas. Never ran into anyone else climbing here. there's definitely a little something for everyone. excellent gritstone and sandstone boulders a lot of potential for the more experienced as we had only climbed the easier v2-v3 boulders. great easy approach is excellent for saving your energy for climbing. also no access issues all galitzen state forest
Getting There
park in the lot across from the galitzen picnic area. from here you wanna start out on "the lost turkey trail". follow this trail till you find the carin on your right. once you find the carin cut into the woods where it is and you will find the first area about no more than 100 yards from it. sometimes you can see the boulders from the carin on the lost turkey trail. I marked some trees with orange blazes if that helps. to get to the two other areas you follow the main boulder wall out in the direction it leads. to get to area three you will continue this direction and cross a tram road and abandoned gas field on the left.
