Description Suggest change

Coral stone cliffs face the ocean in this small park south of downtown Miami. The sharp, textured and strong rock in this region forms a cliff 6-10' high by 150' max length. This quiet park sits a few houses down from Stallone's home and there are strict rules about not being there after dark. Most of the cliff is sunny, and this heat is what keeps the rock clean and free of moss.

When mountain folk are stuck in Florida this cliff can be useful for practice. The porous rock makes for both easy and hard climbing. If you want to climb hard you'll have to self-limit your use of holds since it is full of great holds. Beware of coral snakes which can live in the holes in the rock.

Getting There Suggest change

Take South Miami Ave to SE 32nd Rd. Its on Brickell Ave. and has some chainlink fence gates.
