Description Suggest change

Numerous crags up on an anomalous series of sandstone buttes nestled in a valley of limestone, the site of reference for single pitch crack climbing in southern france, also a major spot for southern bouldering. Look out, it's a furnace in summer !
When the dude that showed me this place found out I was raised in the states he asked me "ever been to indian creek?" and I told him no, he said "good, otherwise I would be embarrassed to take you here."
That story sort of speaks for the site, indian creek only way smaller with very different ambiance and less impressive splitters, that being said there are some really quality trad climbs between 5b and 7a there, if you're in southern france and itching for some single pitch trad climbing or some legitimately spectacular bouldering Annot is definitely worth the detour.

Getting There Suggest change

from Annot follow the signs for the trainstation, park in the old trainstation and follow the paths that lead up clearly towards the buttes, from there the paths will vary depending on if you're looking to boulder or climb routes, about an hour of approach. the camping site on the other side of the town is cheap and pretty nice
