Description Suggest change

This is the southernmost buttress on the west side of the valley. It has rock more reminiscent of the Tetons than the Wind Rivers. Descent is made by the steep gully to the south of the buttress. Though the vertical relief of the buttress is well over 1000ft, there are large ledges in the middle of it.

Getting There Suggest change

Follow the trail from Little Sandy Lake north to the first lake. Here, leave the trail and follow the drainage leading to the base of the buttress.
