Description
Sunny and photogenic. Short but very technical and steep routes await. Tends to catch wind unless it is blowing from the north. Castle-like formations with exposure.
Getting There
On the Rawlins Uplift just a couple of miles north of Rawlins. Going north of Rawlins two miles mile on Hwy 287 turn left and head toward rock quarry. Turn left on two-track just before rock quarry. Follow the northernmost yellow line on the attached map photo into drainage marked on map. Park at leftside pull-out just above an old rusty 1950s car occasionally used for target practice by locals. Walk left of road heading south to gain the ridge. After gaining the bedrock ridge head west for a few 100 yards then look down and left for a walk-down into the Watchtowers area which face south into major drainage just south of where you parked. Underworld Area is SW on immediate cliffline facing north toward where you parked.
