Description

A hidden gem among Park Ciy's limited climbing opportunities. This 25-30' quartzite crag has a range of bouldering (V0-V1) and short TR climbs (5.9-5.10) with one mounted bolt with chain and worth the hike. Bring stoppers or small cams to back up fixed anchor. Mostly steep edgy face climbing with ledges, block and crimp type holds (moderate to advanced). Watch out and be careful for loose holds and many of the faces still need cleaning to make good. Shady in mornings, sun in late afternoon. More info to come on the FA or who mounted the anchor.

Getting There

Head up 8th Ave. to Lowell Ave, find faint trail heading up to the old creole mines or creole ski run. Proceed up an old jeep road to hiking straight up creole ski trail, past sweeny's switchback, look left. Total hike time, 10-15 minutes
