This area hosts the best of the best at Coll's Cove! So many classics, so many more to find and do! The main area refers to all the boulders scattered beneath the cliff line. The rock here is "pa gritstone", which is more similar to LRC in Chattanooga than Coopers Rock in WV. The best climbs lie in the V5-V9 range, so bring your A-game! There are also projects here on beautiful stone with amazing holds that will definitely go in the double digits.
Park at the Gasline entrance. Hike down the gasline road for ~1/3 mile. When the road splits to the right, hike left into the small clearing. You will see an old logging road, follow blue ribbons for about 100 yards. The first climb you will come to is ReallyReally Good arete. From here it gets complicated, refer to the overhead topos (coming soon).
