Description
This area hosts the best of the best at Coll's Cove! So many classics, so many more to find and do! The main area refers to all the boulders scattered beneath the cliff line. The rock here is "pa gritstone", which is more similar to LRC in Chattanooga than Coopers Rock in WV.
Getting There
Hike down the access road for ~1/3 mile, past the pipeline. When the road splits to the right, hike left into the small clearing. You will see an old logging road. Follow this downhill for about 100 yards. Where that logging road bends left down the hill, continue straight along the single-track trail. The first climb you will come to is ReallyReally Good arete. Continue left past this to the rest of the Main Area.
