Clints Well Rock Climbing

These directions are for a faint trail that will lead you to the bottom of the canyon up stream of the climbs. If you want to gain access to the top of Dark Falls look at that description. 

Wether you are coming from the Valley or Flagstaff, you'll turn west on FS-122C, aproxamently 100 yards south of the Clint's Well gas station. Continue on FS 122c for 2.9 miles and take a right onto FS-9399S (unmarked).  Proceed on FS 9399S for 1.7 miles to the end. Park and head down the hill following a climbers trail marked by cairns.  The trail heads west to a saddle and then south down to the creek. It's a beautiful hike to the creek. Head down stream and you'll see Porter's Pillar hiding the Hidden Garden on the right and the Southern Wall on the left.

The road does not require 4WD, but you want a high clearance vehicle.  It was too much for my Honda Element, for instance.
