Description

This high outcrop can be seen looking east from Curtis Gulch Campground on the north side of upper La Bonte Canyon. Note its bold clear cut steep faces.

Getting There

4WD or walk down La Bonte Creek 2-track below Curtis Gulch Campground for 1.5 miles. Park on below the west end of this high outcrop. Hike up the left side just below the steep wall gaining the saddle between it summit and the higher rock north. Continue in a clockwise fashion to the orange wall front face. The 0.8 mile hike gains 1050 feet above the creek.
