Description

A remote conglomerate trad climbing crag, with a couple dozen single-pitch routes established from 5.4 to 5.12a, in Lehigh Gorge State Park.  This cliff is also called HESCHELL CLIFF

Getting There

Quite a hike in for the region, with an estimated approach of over an hour. Hike up Glen Onoko Falls Trail.  As you head uphill after snakeing under the bridge, you can only go steep uphill 100 yards until you hit a "trail closed" sign (year 2019).  At that sign, there is a very defined trail Y to the right (5 ft wide) instead.  Follow that trail right and through the faint zigs and zags until it becomes defined well again and starts heading steep uphill on rock steps at times.  Trail comes up to the top of the hill.  Once at the top, follow trail NE along the ridge on faint trails for 2 miles until you come to the blue dot (see my picture in the pictures section).  There is a very clear 8 foot wide trampled footpath leading from the cliff edge back to your trail....and to the fire road found in satellite view of google maps.
