Description

This north-facing tower is located in the Monument Slot (aka Gunga Din) just past Rocky Top. It has three quality 5.10a's on it.

Getting There

From Whitney Portal Rd, turn left onto Horseshoe Meadows Rd. After less than a mile there will be a dirt road on the left with a large plaque embedded in a granite boulder (this is the Gunga Din monument). Drive past the monument and park in the large clearing in front of Rocky Top. Temple of Kali is just up the road on the right. A short scramble leads to the base.
