Description
The Red Ledges Picnic Area is a popular area for rappelling. A couple of sport routes can be found and an ice route White on Red even forms once in a while. A large natural arch can be seen from the parking lot called Diamond Fork Arch. There is a paved parking area, picnic tables, and a pit toilet. Red Ledges is a day use only area (6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.) but no use fees are required.
Getting There
Drive seven (7) miles up Diamond Fork Canyon. Look for a paved parking area on the left (north) side of the road. It is another three (3) miles to Three Forks Trail Head (trail head for 5th water hot springs).
