Description
Nice in the summer spring and fall, but shady and cold as hell in the winter. This is the closest area from the car in this drainage chock full of good sandstone blocks.
Getting There
Park at the end of the 3rd switchback at the corner or at the pullout. Walk the trail that begins halfway through corner of the road, west for about four or five minutes right out to the top of the hill. Switchback left down the hillside and continue into the trees. Bear Hug is the first boulder you come to, continue on to Cheese Boulder and further to The Ripper Point.
