Description
This is a prominence of immaculate granite dominated by its namesake climb, Hypertension. It is nice and shady on hot summer afternoons. This gets more wind due to its exposure.
Getting There
This cirque is located on the northeast side of the top of Turtle Rock. To get there, head toward Land of the Rising Moon, as per the description for LOTRM, but instead of heading up to the saddle between Turtle Rock and Glenn Dome, cut right and up slabs to the top of Turtle Rock. Staying right, walk across the top of Turtle Rock, and head left. The strikingly beautiful Hypertension will soon come into view. You'll know it when you get there.
