Descent
About 10-15 minutes. Potentially chaco/teva friendly although it has some steep slopes near the end that I liked having shoes for.
From the parking area, step over the concrete barriers and find a trail that goes steep down initially, and then starts trending left. Follow the well-traveled trail as it keeps traversing left. Eventually you come down to the river, don't go too far down, you'll want to stay midway high on the boulder field and follow the trail as it traverses on steep dirt slopes until it gets to the wall and then goes down to the base.
