Park at trailhead for Harrison Lake (Trail #217). Follow trail to Harrison Lake (2.5 miles and 1,400 vertical). The lake is at elevation 6,200' move around right side of lake and gain ridge to the northeast of the lake. Stay on the ridge (there is a pretty nice climbers trail) heading north until you reach elevation around 6,500 and then begin turning to the northeast aiming to hit the talus field around 6,600'. If you move off the ridge too soon trying to take a more direct route to Harrison peak you'll run into numerous obstacles that will slow you down. On the talus field the route continues to be marked by cairns. The talus field has some class 3 ledges to reach the base of the route at 6,900'. From here feel free to stow any extra items in he nearby trees because you'll come by this spot when you descend the east ridge via a walk off. The walk off when done well is about 0.25 miles and takes about 20 minutes.
