Descent from VF Tomaselli from Summit of Punta Fanes Sud.

The first part of this descent is another via ferrata route with a steel cable. The second part is a rather steep slippery hike with no official trail. The cable starts (N46.5461, E12.0188) from a short ways E from the summit (N46.5461, E12.0184) of Punta Fanes Sud. It goes down steeply and mostly continuous to (N46.5463, E12.0197) just above W from a pass. Then hike S then SSW down steep slope until junction (N46.5428, E12.0179) just below E from the Forcella Grande with the approach trail up from Passo Falzarego.
From here, could either follow the approach hike from Passo Falzarego in reverse to hike back down to parking, or hike up W over the pass to reach the approach hike from the Lagazuoi lift and hike that in reverse (down then up) then ride the lift down to parking.

This VF route could also be done in reverse climbing up to reach the summit of Punta Fanes Sud.
