Mono Pass Hiking Trail

Official maintained trail, also used by horse-packing parties, so the slopes are non-steep. No creek crossings before reaching Mono Pass. used to access climbs around Mt Starr + Ruby Peak + Petit Griffon.
Starts from Morgan Pass Hiking Trail at marked junction (N37.4291 W118.7510) about 0.4 mile S from Mosquito Flat trailhead Parking (N37.4352 W118.7470). Roughly SW up to junction (N37.4186 W118.7643) for Ruby Lake. NNW then WSW to (N37.4186 W118.7725) N above past the Lake, then turns N up to reach Mono Pass (N37.4256 W118.7724). Continues gentle down NNE past Summit Lake and on further.
