In preparation for a big adventure, my buddy and I would like to spend a night on a portaledge in LCC so we can work out some kinks in our systems. With that, we'd like to do it in a place that will good, but we also don't want to piss anyone off/get in anyone's way.

It would also be convienent if the spot isn't too far from the road, that way, I can haul up multiple six packs of Old E. Why bring water when you're drinking Utah beer?...

Any ideas? It doesn't need to be too high off the ground.

Peeler Direct

Not too bad of an approach
One pitch of aid
Nice multiple anchors for everything
Small ledge to stand on
T6 rating (Tourist) with the view from the road

The Peeler Direct would be a good route for what you're looking for. You could pitch it out in two pitches to work our your kinks with hauling, and jugging. Then bivy above the C2 thin crack with a nice view, and some exposure. Have a great time!

Thanks for your help. I'll let you know how it goes.
