Description Suggest change

One of the coolest multi pitch trad lines in Illinois! Start up the crack in a left facing dihedral that will take you to the base of the chimney at a great bolted belay. From here, fire up the obvious squeeze chimney past 2 bolts before reaching the anchor (5.9).

Legend has it that Jim Thurmond once burrowed so deep inside the chimney that he could feel the wind coming through from the casual horrors crack. That whole wall is a detached block. Wild!

Location Suggest change

Scurry around the left side of the main wall until you see the dihedral that will eat up trad gear.

Protection Suggest change

Double rack. Bolted Anchors
