This is the chimney to the right of "#2".

Soloed this and found it fun and not too stressful. The rock is good and solid. Jun 25, 2014

I've found two variations to this climb, which I've always called "Ballbuster Chimney." The direct variation is just that: climb straight up to the anchors for "Easy Corner." The other variation climbs up the bottom part of the chimney, then at the break step onto the face and climb to the anchors for the South Face.

If you lead the second variation, bring a #4 C4. The direct variation can be lead, but there is some questionable gear placements in the upper part of the chimney. Feb 17, 2011
