Description

This is one of the best 11c in maple. It has amazing movement with good holds and underclings then the climb changes personality for the last crux - it's blank with sequential pockets and tricky feet. Well protected if you fall here - I've taken many falls at this part! Have fun.

Location

The middle route.

I'll agree...this is one of my very best routes. A fine 5.11 for sure. Well protected, clean falls. Try it even if you cant climb 5.11! May 11, 2010

Groundwork is the best 11c in maple. This climb has nothing on that one. Jun 17, 2012

May not be as good as Groundwork, but it is a fantastic route. Jun 24, 2014

Save some juice for clipping the chains as the holds near the chains are not great. Feb 22, 2016

Good route not amazing though, in my opinion. Easy 5.10 climbing on good holds most of the way until the last few feet, then one or two hard pulls on sharp pockets to get to the lip. Best 11c in Maple.. if you don't count the Hitchhiker, Groundwork, Dry Spunk, Solstice, etc. Aug 6, 2017
