Northface starts on a prominent left facing flake, traverses slightly left and then follows edges, side pulls, underclings and smears to the top. This route has remained a TR because of current bolting restrictions.

10 feet right of the Regular Route.

felt a little sandbagged at 10B! Techy face climbing with good edges and smeared feet, as well as some wonky beta! Jul 3, 2015

Doug LaFarge's 1994 guide lists it as 5.10b/c. I agree with 5.10b/c or 5.10c.
Richard Ludwig told me that Tim Wilhelmi actually led this route on runnout gear. Apparently, soon after, he would be found running solo laps on it! Wild. Mar 4, 2016

Yeah, he was an amazing climber back then; flawlessly precise, as well as strong and determined, he effortlessly made it look easy each time... Mar 6, 2016
