OnX and Mountain Project

Hi everyone, 

A few years back, onX joined forces with Mountain Project and today you will start seeing the onX logo alongside the Mountain Project logo on the website. We've been careful not to mess with a good thing, so MP has largely gone on as it always has. That makes this a good time to reiterate our commitment, especially for anyone just learning about onX's partnership. 

Specifically, that the heart and soul of Mountain Project—the database of climbing information, the vibrant community, and the invaluable connections—are not going anywhere and will remain free.

The updated branding with the onX logo is a symbol of our commitment to serving the climbing community. You can expect to see this in bug fixes and usability improvements on Mountain Project (see the new MP Changelog thread here), in our partnership with organizations like the American Alpine Club and the Access Fund, and in projects that combine the strengths of onX and Mountain Project.
