Description

A 100 year old park on about 50 acres with a decent mix of sun and shade for bouldering. All boulders are hand crafted limestone blocks that have been mortared into structures. There is a disc golf course set around all the climbs. Be aware of the disc golfers. Be respectful of events at the amphitheater. Bring a rake and broom, I put a blanket under my pad to avoid tree root damaging the pad.

Getting There

Located on the south side of Emporia along the Cottonwood River. Get on the south side of the railroad tracks then head south on west street. Park in the designated parking in the turn around. Parking is near the Amphitheater containing 9 limestone pillars. Monky Island is in the northern most area. The bridge is east southeast of the Amphitheater about 75 yards.
