Description
The Thurman Flat Area is a picturesque location situated along Mill Creek that offers quality sport climbing and bouldering only minutes away from the road.
The fluctuating water levels of the creek may impinge upon some of the climbing depending upon the time of year.
Getting There
Drive 2.7 miles from the Ranger Station just past the intersection of Highway 38 and Bryant Street and turn right at the sign into the paved parking lot.
Stairs on the south side of the parking lot lead down to a trail which features several water crossings with in situ logs before reaching Mill Creek.
- The approach takes 5 minutes or less.
