Getting There Suggest change

Walk north along the paved trail away from the Big Rock formation. Stay on the trail looking east until a gentle valley/gully appears with the formation visible in the distance. Continue north losing site of the formation until a wash meets the trail. Head back and right along the sandy wash, following faint game/climber trails staying on the north side of the gully. Pass a meadow with an assortment of quality boulders and continue the slog to the base of Poolside.
