Description Suggest change

Beautiful quality stone in a remote area. Excellent test piece climbs many of which can get quite tall, though there are great problems an individual could do with just two pads. This is a bouldering only area. No bolting or fixed gear allowed.

Getting There Suggest change

There are no developed trails in this area, making access a bit more committing with the thorns and burs. It is about a 25-35min hike. Park at the observatory. The sure way to get to the area is to head down the hill past the observatory and follow the creek the whole way. If you stay east of the creek and higher on the hills it is possible to move to the area more directly and head down a later gulley.
