Description Suggest change

"In the Long Alcove is this sunny slice of rock which faces southeast and offers several toprope problems of moderate difficulty on a nice wide & tall section of wall." -Quote from Olson book (Northwest Oregon Rock). Directly to the right of "I dyno if I can do this." No bolted anchors. Bring an extra long sling or static rope & some cams to build an anchor. The middle section of this wall is overhung.

Described as having a variety of routes ranging from 5.6 to 5.9. Location of those routes is not specified in the book.

This wall has a fun overhang with good holds and offers something a little different that the rest of Horsethief. No bolted anchors (but it deserves them).

Getting There Suggest change

Walk east along the Main Inner Corridor past the Petroglyph Overhang and the Long Alcove will be to your left. Walk past the Veranda and find the Sunshine Face to your left (kind of behind the Veranda).
