Millerton Bouldering

Millerton Lake State Recreation Area
Madera side, state park entrance fee $10, granite.

Park is open until 10pm during the summer months.

You will almost always have cell phone service out there, parking is really close to most of the boulders, and it is only 30 mins from Fresno. Great place to get some decent outdoor bouldering if you woke up too late for a National Park.

Be careful of choss, broken glass, and rattlesnakes. Try to pick up some trash while you’re out there if you can.
