Description
This area is generally used as the "main area." There are benches at the bottom and has the most recreational space between all of the areas. There are many sets of bolts that are easily accessible and safe to use. If you have the proper slings, you can avoid your rope rubbing on the rock. This area has climbs for people of all difficulty, with routes ranging from 5.3 to 5.10. This is also the only area that includes a route used for sport climbing.
Getting There
Once you enter Area 31 from the trail, continue walking on top of the rocks till you reach the end. You will come to an area with lots of top rope anchors. Continue walking down and around to get to the bottom of where the anchors are. There will be a small open area with makeshift benches and nice rocks to set gear on. This is the right wall area.
