-There are no fires allowed anywhere, including the boulder basin & group campsites.
-Please carpool, parking is limited, so if you show up and there is nowhere reasonable for you to park, you must leave. (instead of parking somewhere unreasonable).
-Bring cash to park, lots of people showing up without cash. Even if you don't camp overnight, you still must pay for day parking.
-Don't climb boulders in/ around occupied camp sites (some say ask, personally I just go somewhere else).
-Spread out a bit.
Description
Situated partway between the Saddle boulders and the Once Upon a Time, this area has a few gems you can hit up after finishing at either of the two nearby locations. The enclosed nature of the boulder cluster means you get a decent chance at shade throughout the day.
Getting There
From the Saddle boulders, continue down the gully for another 300-400 feet until the large rock on your left begins to end. To your right should be a cluster of boulders forming a small square; look for the entrance boulder densely covered with knobs and patina cracks across the east face.
