The Northern Group encompasses a series of formations that are home to classics like Kachoong (10c) and A Taste of Honey (10d). There are many other more difficult lines of high quality there as well.
The area can be approached from below via a long hike, but it is more easily approached via the summit road. Follow this to a car pack at the end, skirt the gate and continue on the the cliff edge. A steep scramble or easy rappel leads to the base of the more popular climbs. Some routes start from various points in this gully.
