Description

On top of the Hostess Formation and to the left are two top-rope anchor bolts for setting up this route. Bit of dirt near the bottom, but lately it's been cleaning up more.

[Hide Comment] The anchors are a bit rusted and one hanger is loose, but I trusted them and didn't plunge to my death. Moss at the start and sandy throughout - needs some traffic to clean up. Great route that the zombie hordes haven't found quite yet. Jan 26, 2020

[Hide Comment] Sounds like it's about in the same condition we left it when we did the FA way back when. More traffic would clean it up. Still some neat moves in passing along the way up. Just keeping doing it more and it's gain in popularity no doubt. Remember those bolts are bomber cause they're so huge. Jan 27, 2020

[Hide Comment] I set a top rope on this route for 4 of my friends but I didn't get to climb it myself. Their consensus was that if you go left about 1/3rd of the way up to gain a key foothold, it's between a 5.9 and 5.10b, depending on your height, skills, and comfort with trusting your feet on the slabby crimps in the top 1/3rd. If you take the harder route up, the crux is between 5.10c and 5.11a. As per earlier comments, right bolt (climber's right) is bomber and (climber's) left bolt is a spinner with slight rust on the bolt (but no rust on either hanger). I backed up the left bolt with a static cord to a tree about 8' behind the anchor bolts. Aug 10, 2020
