This area is accessed via a narrow dirt road through a residential neighborhood, and The Miracle Boulder is literally on the road. Please be respectful of the neighborhood residents - this means driving slowly, carpooling if you can, and leaving your dogs and speakers at home. It is worth double checking your Gaia or OnX apps carefully before doing too much exploring/developing here. There is lots of private property up the hill that is not well-marked.

Per Allentg: it's frustrating that there will be no recourse for the access/safety issues that will inevitably arise from this area being posted. The canyon cannot sustain more climbers and I have already witnessed a road hazard from people/dogs in the road. There should be some respect for the residents that commute on that road as well as the general consensus to keep the area low key. I worry that the inevitable increase in climbers will not be sustainable in the canyon and strain relations with the local residents due to the dangerous nature of the road, lack of legal parking, and the boulder being right on the road. Although the boulder is on National Forest land, I believe that there will be significant access issues in the near future.

1. The typical Front Range crew of 4-50 people projecting Miracle Boulders will create a road hazard - if you’re not on the boulder or in the immediate landing area, you’re standing in the middle of a well trafficked road that the neighborhood relies on to come and go.
2. Most obvious parking spots are on private property and/or in bends in the road that protrude into traffic.
3. The neighborhood had extensive issues with climbers leaving trash and getting aggressive when asked to stop blocking the road / parking on neighbors’ properties.
We’re all “entitled” to public land, but if this area starts getting the amount of traffic that other roadside boulders do, the residents will absolutely fight to get access permanently revoked. Please don’t rush to climb here, and if you absolutely must climb these blocks, please consider going solo. Oftentimes, gatekeeping is a direct response to us climbers proving ourselves unable to respect the local area. Apr 20, 2025
