Mount Dade

California > High Sierra > 06 - Little Lakes Val…

Description

**13,653 ft (4,162 m)**

Just one of the many fine peaks above the Little Lakes Valley. The hourglass couloir and east side slopes are probably the most popular way to reach this summit, but if you're looking for something a bit more alpine, the North Face is the route to do.

Getting There

Head up to Ruby Lake and then keep going up the valley above the lake. Eventually you have access to Mills, Abbott and Dade. Take your pick, they're all attractive peaks.

[Hide Comment] Not sure what's up with the summit elevation listed here - I think the elevation linked to the mapped pinpoint was a bad idea by the site developers. Should be 13,600'+. There are a bunch of other Sierra peaks with wrong elevations now too as a result. The manual entry field for elevation was easier to correct than this current nonsense. Get on it admins! Jul 4, 2018
