Griddle Block is big, and the north and south-facing overhangs are comprised of decent rock quality with good landings. Similar to what is found at the Texas Area, the rock has a sandy-texture that can make for a difficult but exciting experience.
There is a small down-climb on the boulder's southeast corner.
It is located in the same vicinty as Anchor Block and Horizontal Crack Boulder. It lies about 50 yards south of Anchor Block. Reference the page map for greater clarification.
