North-west facing wall high above the port town of Lyttleton. Single pitch sport climbing with easy access from the road.

Getting There

From Lyttleton, turn up hill on St. David's Street. Follow this around as it becomes Brenchley Road. Park at the end of the road, not blocking the access gate.

Go through the first gate, walk down the dirt trail to a second gate (there was a blue port-a-john nearby when I was there). Go through this gate and walk uphill on the trail. After 5-10 minutes you'll see a yellow post sticking up to your right, head towards that and follow the trail up and to the right. Bottom of the trail goes along the Wunderbar Wall.

Climbing Season

For the South Island area.
