This is a Steck Salathe style variation to Dumb Decision with the same start.Climb the fist/inside finger crack to a small ledge place a number 3 hex and a number 4-6 nut (depending on your brand) to protect the traverse. Get ready to commit step out in to the chimney system cuss swear beg and plead for your back as you grovel inch by inch to the large boulder wedged in the chimney. I am curious if camping is still allowed at Wrinkled Rock? Passed thru the other day with plans on spending the night here and found several signs saying No Camping/No Campfires in the parking lot. Any updated info? or was I just not getting it?

Camped there a couple times this summer. Didn't see any No Camping signs.

Craig, maybe you drove through the old Breezy Point primitive camp area, which is now a day use picnic area only. It's just to the left of the Wrinkled Rock camp/parking area in the photo.

Several nice tent pads made by nfs. No camp fires, but free camping. Just camped there on 3/25/2016.

Can anyone tell me, do I stand a chance of parking here and sleeping in my van
over the 4th or maybe just after? Looks like a small area and I'm sure if there
are limited sites it must get packed. Thanks,Dennis

Dennis - wrinkled Rock is a great place to camp. We were just there this past weekend (left on Wednesday). It does get a bit crowded, so be prepared.
