  • Description

Wounded Eagle combines technical strength, balance and superior mind control all into one spectacular climb. Sporty Bouldery moves for 35' will get you to the last crux, "The Step Across", improbable iron cross move left will get you to the Gray Streak. Climb the Gray Streak 5.8 to top.

Wounded Eagle climbs the farthest right margin of the Main Wall. Climb the large rounded blunt arete just left of Tatanka. Follow shallow obtuse corner with the black and orange streaks until you have gained the large potato chip shaped flake. Now make this step across move left to gain the gray streak.

Gear to 2 inches. Protection is decent but precise and micro through the cruxes. Same anchor as Tatanka, giant slung boulder at top right of crag.
