This crag is on private property and that access is (at best) dubious. It is a small sandstone crag that does not see much climber traffic. This crag has one top-rope anchor at the top and a couple to bolted routs up the other side. Unfortunately, due to the little climber traffic the rock has a good bit of moss growing on it and a bit of sand. There are a few homes across the way so try not to make much noise.

Getting There

Park at the Park & Ride at Woodside and 280. Cross Woodside road and walk under the freeway. A little past the freeway there is a dirt pullout with a large 280 sign and a cell phone relay station on the side. Find one of the trails that will take you through the bushes and down the embankment on the other side. You will find the top of the crag just down the embankment.

Aptly named for the cratered slopers and pockets, this route ascends the furthest left line on the rock. With an early crux (and fun, mandatory finger-stack) and few extraneous holds, this route is pretty cerebral for the grade....[more]   Browse More Classics in California

i checked it out recently, good fun routes. im commenting because i parked right off the highway 84 next to the 280 sign, facing west, and walked down near the wood fence. pretty safe. Theres no signs saying you cant park there, ive been to a few spots that have similar access to the routes and ive just pulled off the road safely.

This crag is on private property, so please keep a very low profile while there, and leave no trace of your visit.
