Wimberley Boulders Rock Climbing
Along River Road in Wimberley you will find several semi-hidden boulders on the right side of the road headed up river. These are past the low water crossing near 7A resort. The boulders we particularly climbed on are in a bunch of shrubbery of thorns and trees. The potential to tread climb on the cliffs behind these boulders also seem like a lot of fun! These boulders are hard limestone and the cliffs are mix of hard and soft, brittle limestone. (a piece fell off while climbing)
Go to Wimberley, Texas and go down river road.

I went by here today. There definitely are some cool-looking boulders here. However, roadside parking is clearly prohibited all along this stretch on both sides. Unless you live at a house here or are staying at the 7A, it looks as though the only legal way to access the rocks is by foot or bicycle. The rocks themselves seem to be in the state right-of-way and not on private land.
