Description

The White Fang is a large buttress just up valley from the Bridge Creek Wall. It features only one route in the guidebook but certainly could see more development.

Guidebook description:
"Sweeping crag found on the right margin of the Non-Wall. The south facing crag is slashed with numerous corner and chimney systems, and holds much potential for new routing"

Getting There

Follow trail to the Condor Buttress and continue up to the right from the bottom of Condorphamine Addiction. Beware of 3rd class scrambles.

You will pass underneath the Non-Wall and continue up to the face topped with the large white blocky face

Climbing Season

For the Icicle Creek area.

Sleeping with Giants is on a sub formation to the right of the White Fang. Jack and I hiked all the way up intending to put up a new route on the Fang and ended up being intimidated out of the true south face and turned out attention to this smaller feature just to the right of the Fang. The Molar may be a better name for it.Three pitches:P1: 5.6 approach pitch. Puts you at the bottom of the tight corner that finishes in an overhanging, flaring tight hands crack. Great stance to belay from at...[more]   Browse More Classics in Washington
