Which piece of "gear" will make me happy?
|
I have at least 6 pairs of shoes, 3 ropes, 3 harnesses, 16 QDs, full set of doubles to #4, a 5 & a 6, 2pairs of approach shoes, flip flops, 2 tents, several sleeping bags a shitload of jackets and pants, but if I find that one piece of gear that I'm missing I think I'll be happy. Oh it also must be on sale, I don't pay retail. |

H.. wrote:http://www.flamestower.com/ more a camping thing, but pretty neat.I agree that the FlameStower is a neat idea, but I do see one serious flaw... "Lightweight and reliable, it works by conducting heat to a thermoelectric generator, which is in contact with a water reservoir the combination of hot and cold produces enough juice to charge your device in as little as three hours." Right. Because I'm going to run my camp stove for 3 hours. skitch wrote:I have at least 6 pairs of shoes, 3 ropes, 3 harnesses, 16 QDs, full set of doubles to #4, a 5 & a 6, 2pairs of approach shoes, flip flops, 2 tents, several sleeping bags a shitload of jackets and pants, but if I find that one piece of gear that I'm missing I think I'll be happy.
