A nice wall to climb on.

RAIN AND WET ROCK The sandstone in Red Rocks is fragile and is very easily damaged when it is wet. MORE INFO >>>

When Phil and I first put in the anchors for this line it was super friable and felt a lot harder that it does today. Honestly, this now feels like 5.8+. Sorry for the grade in the book and on the early posts to this section...

Fun climb, not 5.10a. More like 5.8

This route is (sparsely) bolted now. The pull through the low roof yields a no hold ledge (if you go straight up). And then after getting onto the ledge, still not being able to reach the second bolt really turned me off. Right there, it'd be a ground fall if you blew it. There should be another bolt between #1 and #2. Upper climbing is 8 or 7 so the runout didn't feel bad. Wish I had done the other routes up the gully but the business on this one turned me off. I didn't want to face another similar situation.

If this is the route I think it is . Climbed this yesterday and their is glue in bolts now . And spread apart towards the top . But the climbing gets easier . 5-8 + for the route . Almost 9ish not quite more fun than the rest of the ladder style climbing on the rest of the wall .
