What's the deal with Molly Gulch Campground

I know the campground was closed, but is this the same as the current parking lot for Helen's dome and Sheeprock? Anyone know if I can camp out of this parking lot without getting hassled?

I have camped there many a time without hassle. It is Pike National Forest and not illegal to camp, unless something has changed. If you want a bit more privacy than in the parking lot, there is a nice flat spot just on the other side of the flat boulder.

We even had a 36 ft motor home there for several days.
